APPLICATION PACKETS

The St. Labre Returning or New Student application packet must be on file for EVERY STUDENT. Included in the packet is the dorm application. Please disregard if you are not interested in or eligible for dorm residence. Get the SPORTS PHYSICALS done now. Practice begins Monday, August 29.

SCHOOL START DATE

School begins at 8:15 A.M. on Thursday, August 25. We will have two full days of school before our first weekend. Students, returning or new, will be accepted only through August 31. The school day will end at 3:50 this year, with buses leaving promptly at 4 P.M. Our first “early out” day is September 11, and our first holiday is on September 5.

POLO SHIRT PURCHASE AND PROFESSIONAL WEAR

We are asking families to buy polo shirts this year. One polo shirt is $10, and two are $20. You should buy them at the school August 22, 23, 24, or send the money with your child on August 25 on the first day of school. Applications for polo shirt purchase assistance are available at the middle school office.
Be prepared for our first Professional Wear Day (yet to be announced) by locating dress slacks or skirts, dress shirts or blouses, and ties for the boys. We have FREE ties at the MS Office, just ask. Also professional dress clothes are available at the St. Labre Clothes Room.
JEANS ALERT: As families shop for school clothes, remember that students may wear jeans at St. Labre Middle School Academy, but the fashionable “HOLES” are not allowed at school. Baggy jeans must be belted, and of course, ALL SHIRTS TUCKED IN!

BASIC SCHOOL SUPPLIES

As students prepare for school, there are a few items that are most important. A detailed list from each teacher will be mailed. Each student needs: A zipper 3-ring binder with pockets A set of subject dividers A package of pencils 4 spiral notebooks A package of notebook paper A package of colored pencils Students, come prepared to start your new year!
